Investment principles

We take concentrated stakes in the companies defining their industries, and we stay invested for as long as the case holds.

Every position is underwritten on the business itself: the return should be available from the cash it generates and the assets it holds. A sale or listing is a further route to value, not the one the case depends on.

Decisions are made internally, without the constraints of fund cycles or external mandates, which lets the office hold concentrated positions through volatility.

We are not obliged to be invested. Holding cash is a position, and patience is part of the return.

Philosophy

A fundamentals-driven approach to capital allocation.

Seraphis takes a long-term, fundamentals-driven approach to capital allocation, working with companies, management teams and strategic partners to support sustainable growth, operational development and long-term value creation across its portfolio.

The office was built to hold for as long as the case holds. That shapes what we buy, the price we will pay, and the way we work with the people who run the businesses we own. It also shapes what we decline: much of what we look at fails on durability rather than on price.

Where capital is deployed

Public Markets

Listed equities provide liquidity, transparency, and the ability to build meaningful positions in businesses whose scale precludes private ownership. We approach public markets with the same diligence horizon as private — positions are held for years, not quarters. The objective is to own exceptional businesses at prices that do not yet reflect their compounding trajectory.

Private Markets

Private holdings — growth equity, direct investments, and structured positions — offer access to companies before they are priced by public markets. The illiquidity is not a cost we tolerate but a premium we earn. We are patient capital, willing to underwrite decade-long holding periods where the underlying business compounds faster than the market would permit.

Capital is permanent, the horizon is generational, and the measure of success is compounding over decades rather than quarters.

Global strategy

Global multi-sector investment strategy.

How Seraphis Group deploys long-horizon capital across ten sectors and four global financial centres.

Seraphis Group is a private investment office that deploys permanent capital across a deliberately concentrated portfolio spanning ten sectors and four global financial centres. From offices in New York, Zurich, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi, the firm constructs cross-asset positions across public equities, private growth capital, real estate, infrastructure and digital assets, balancing frontier technology with established industries to compound capital across generations.

The firm's investment approach is built on three foundations: thematic origination, independent conviction and patient, long-horizon stewardship. Thematic origination begins with structural shifts in the global economy — the applied artificial intelligence build-out, the modernisation of defence and aerospace, the energy transition, and the digitisation of financial services — and traces those shifts into the specific businesses best positioned to benefit. Independent conviction means decisions are made internally, without the constraints of fund cycles or external mandates, allowing the firm to hold concentrated positions through volatility. Patient stewardship reflects the private investment office structure: capital is permanent, the horizon is generational, and the measure of success is compounding over decades rather than quarters.

Sector expertise is organised across dedicated investment practices covering healthcare and pharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence and frontier technology, defence and aerospace, banking and financial services, real estate, infrastructure, and digital assets. Each practice is led by a sector head with deep operating and investment experience, supported by a central portfolio construction and risk function that monitors exposure, liquidity and counterparty risk across the entire book. This dual structure — sector depth at the origination layer, centralised discipline at the portfolio layer — allows the firm to pursue concentrated, high-conviction positions while maintaining institutional-grade oversight.

Governance is maintained through an independent risk function reporting directly to the principal, a board composed of operators and investors from across global technology, finance and industry, and a disciplined investment process that moves from thesis formation through origination, diligence, sizing and entry, to active stewardship. The result is a private investment platform built to compound capital responsibly across sectors, geographies and generations.

Governance

How decisions are made and recorded.

Governance is documentary rather than ceremonial. Every decision that commits capital, and every decision not to, leaves a record that the committee can be held to later.

Portfolio

A concentrated book.

Positions are taken with the intention of holding through cycles. The office would rather own a limited number of businesses it understands completely than diversify into positions it cannot follow closely.

Selected holdings are disclosed at the discretion of the office and with the consent of the company. Positions held through listed securities are reported where the relevant threshold requires it.

Featured selections. Not an exhaustive list of portfolio holdings.

How positions are held

Public equities

Minority positions in listed businesses, sized to be held without regard to quarterly marks. We vote our shares and engage privately rather than publicly.

Private growth capital

Growth and control investments where the office takes a governance seat and lets the business, rather than a fund calendar, set the holding period. Management retains equity in every case.

Real assets and digital assets

Real estate and infrastructure held for contracted income and scarcity of supply, and digital-asset infrastructure held through licensed, audited operators.

Leadership

The board and executive team.

The board is composed of operators and investors from across global technology, finance and industry. It oversees the principal and the investment committee, and receives the independent risk function's reporting directly.

Each investment practice is led by a sector head with deep operating and investment experience, supported by a central portfolio construction and risk function. Decisions are made by the people who live with them.
